 | Japan's largest urban park
The entire park consists of three separated
sections. One of them, the Riverside
Central Area, is located in Kaizu where the
Observatory Tower and the Environmental
Exhibition Hall can be found. The famous
Tulip Festival is held in early April. |

Observatory Tower
The tower is 65 meters in height. You
can enjoy the view of 360 degrees and
find the unique landscape of the area
surrounded by the Kiso Three Rivers. The
@Ise Bay and the mountains of the great
Nobi Plain can be seen in the far distance

 | Environmental Exhibition Hal
This particular facility can be found near
the fountain that illustrates a river, at the
bottom of the tower. It features the
importance of the mutual fellowship
between human beings, rivers, and other
creatures. The most popular among is the
Miniature &@Animation Theater that intro-
duces the historical flood control work
during the Horeki Era (1751-1764). |

Lawn Area
Enjoy the open area for outdoor activities.
Alongside of the pathway of flower gardens
and trees, you can find a renovated Mizuya
house. It is the refuge unique to this
particular area made to protect treasures
from constant floods. |  |

 | Events
The park is well-known for the annual
Tulip Festival in early April. As many as
300,000 roses exhibit themselves in vivid
colors within the garden of 3,800 square
meters. Various entertainments and gift
shops are available during the festival.
The New Yearfs countdown fireworks
display is another popular attraction held
at the park. |
